His two accomplices to the crime had also been given life sentences by the Dubai Criminal Court, reported Al Bayan. In 2003, the man along with a tailor and merchant had attacked a cashier after making sure he was alone. They used sticks and knifed him, stealing nearly Dh3,000 cash. Later they withdrew Dh5,500 using the victim's ATM card, then fled. Police were able to apprehend the accomplices. The third criminal, of Asian nationality, had fled to his homeland. Source
